Where can I serve?

Shady Shores Baptist Church is a great place for team members! Whether a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want each to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Shady Shores Baptist Church.

Sunday School
Join us every Sunday morning at 9 am. We have different classes for all age groups that dig a little deeper into the Bible.

Bible Studies

Bible study groups meet to go through various book studies throughout the year. Contact the church for more information.

Tuesday Morning Prayer Group

The prayer group meets at the church every Tuesday from 10:00 am until 11:30 am. All are welcome! For more information please contact Linda Blanton. UPDATE: Tuesday morning prayer group is temporarily not meeting due to the coronavirus crisis.  Please continue to pray for our country, our state, and our church!

Youth Ministry

The Young Disciples meet in the fellowship hall at Shady Shores Baptist every Sunday afternoon from 4-6 pm. We welcome all youth grades 6-12 to come and learn sound biblical truth in an inviting and fun atmosphere!

Children’s Ministry

Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Psalms 34:11

Women’s Ministry

The women’s ministry meets the first Saturday of each month from
9am to 10:30 am for brunch, generally at the church in the fellowship hall (although sometimes we enjoy gathering in someone’s home!).  We meet to encourage one another in our faith, to share how God is working in our lives, and to organize various ways to serve our community and our church. Our desire in all that we do is to remain in the Shadow of the Cross and to bring Glory to God. We are involved in many ministries both in the church and in our community.  Please call the church office at (940) 321-6463 for the location of the next meeting.

Galatians 2:20
20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
